WHOA has my life been crazy. And a request on my brother's behalf.

Sorry that I haven't been able to update lately. I've been really busy (classes starting, student teaching starting, it's crazy). I haven't had as much time to knit lately, or blog, or do much more than student teach and study.

I wish I could talk about my class, but since it's a self-contained class of children with at least one disability (most of them with multiple), I have to keep confidentiality. Let's just say it's really interesting...in a hectic, chaotic way. If you ever catch me online, I'll tell more. But it's just really crazy.

Oh yeah, and I got my luggage back. And a $50 voucher for my next flight.

So why am I writing now (in the few minutes I'm breaking from lesson planning)? I want to promote my brother's walk for epilepsy. My brother's entire story is on his team's page, but it really affected me, too. I'm now concerned for him whenever he's playing video games, or is really stressed out, not eating right...anything that'll make him have a seizure. Please donate to his team. Every little bit counts.

Edited to add:

Also, please cross your fingers/send vibes/pray that Kerry gets a phone call from the University of Maryland. They have two job openings in his field that he's applied for, and I really hope he gets an interview. UMD has the Ph.D. program he wants (it's one of the best in the country), it's kind of close to his family...it's got everything he wants (basically). Also, since we're talking about more serious things (like my moving in with him when I graduate), it's really exciting to me, because it's also near my family, and there's job opportunities everywhere for me, too.
