Okay, I've been a bad girl. I should keep this more up to date, I suppose, if I ever want to get a decent following and write my own book on knitting.
Okay, I admit, photography hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be. I'm actually using my camera now. And I've already had one project turned in. Yesterday, my boyfriend and I went to a minor league baseball game so I could get more pictures taken for another photo project. It was great! I'll have to scan pictures and such and add them.
...Speaking of that game...There was a nasty incident that happened about 3-4 seats away from my boyfriend and me. A guy was taking a swig of beer, and didn't see the foul ball. The foul ball that he only saw once it smacked him right on the nose. Blood gushed everywhere, he went to the hospital, we think it's a broken nose, end of story.
But now, knitting projects! As you can see, I have a widget that now says how much of a project is completed! I had to rip out all of my sweater. Why? Well, when you're knitting something a size too big, it is quite unbecoming for you, and so one may want to start it over. So I frogged the entire damn thing. I'm not a happy camper.
The new projects:
My very first pair of socks! Yay! I've already discussed that in the last thread, so just look down a bit and you'll see.
And the invisibility shawl? Well, my boyfriend has a wedding to attend in late July. I have a little black dress that is the type that can be worn for any wedding, any nicer event, la di da. Well, the first event I went to, I didn't have anything to cover my shoulders. And it was cold outside. So I had to borrow my boyfriend's mother's pashmina shawl for the wedding. And now, since I'll be wearing the dress to another wedding, I need to have something to cover my shoulders in case I get cold (which I do, easily).
I recently bought the book Charmed Knits, and was looking through it, and found a pretty, very simple lace shawl. "That's it!" I thought. "That's the shawl I need!" So I went and bought Knit Picks Shimmer in Morning Mist (note: link for image not from Knit Picks site). I didn't expect it to be blue, grey, and white (I expected it to be light blue and medium blue). But oh well, it's still pretty. And I will be sexy, wearing a light lacy shawl in softer colors.
BTW, people, I'm feeling better! Yay for feeling better!
